25 Things I’ve Learned In 25 Years.

1. Everything can be your teacher.

Whether a good or bad experience, you can always learn from it and improve and get better.

2. Always keep your word.

When you say you’re going to do something, stick to it.

3. Some people in your life are seasonal.

And that’s okay! God brings people into your life to teach you or to be what you need in that season.

4. Be quick to forgive.

Bitterness is not something you want to carry in your heart.

5. Treat everyone like a million bucks.

Love people because that is what we are called to do.

6. Comparison kills contentment.

Never compare your journey to someone else’s, God has you on your specific journey for a reason.

7. Enjoy the process.

God takes us through a process to get us to our destiny, let’s just enjoy the ride.

8. Live with no limits

Don’t hold anything back, your future self depends on you taking risks.

9. Your past doesn’t define you.

You have the option to learn and move forward, and start making the decisions that set you up for a better future.

10. Be a responder, not a reactor.

Respond to something after emotions die down and you have thought about it. Don’t react In the moment when emotions are high.

11. Have people around you that are going to call you out.

Find friends that will love you where you’re at, but love you enough to not let you stay there.

12. Live a generous life.

We are blessed to be a blessing.

13. Change your language, change your life.

What you are speaking out everyday is what your life will follow. Speak life.

14. When you are serving whole heartedly, that’s when you are the closest to Jesus’ character.

When we serve others that’s when we look like Christ the most.

15. Coffee, coffee, and more coffee.

There is nothing like a cup of coffee in the morning while reading your bible before the sun comes up.

16. Start today.

Stop hesitating and putting off things you’re dreaming of, take the first step! Whatever step that may be! And just trust God. But just GO FOR IT!

17. Waiting is always better.

I would rather wait, and get the right blessing. Than try to manufacture my own.

18. Set goals, and then set goals for those goals.

Goal setting has become a huge part of my life, I wake up and set new goals everyday. Goals drive you.

19. Honor is always the way to go.

Always honor who God has put in your life and he will continue to send people he honors.

20. Stop looking at the past, start building for the future.

God can’t bless you with something new, if you keep trying to hold onto the past.

21. It’s okay to fall, just don’t stay there.

Failing will happen, but don’t linger in it. Learn from it, and move forward.

22. Seek more to understand rather than try to be understood.

Especially in our world today, we need to seek to understand. Just a simple conversation will go a long way.

23. Don’t halfway do anything

When you do something, throw your whole self at it.
